KENNEDY HIGH EMERGES AS THE CHAMPION AT HSSC-BHEL CLUSTER GROUP SINGING COMPETITION

 

KENNEDY HIGH the global school hosted Group Singing Competition 2023-24 for Hyderabad Sahodaya Schools Complex BHEL, on Friday,15 September 2023 in the school premises. The theme was Telangana Folk song. The competition was open to students of class VI-X, with each team comprising of 8 to 10 members. A total of 14 teams from CBSE schools participated in this prestigious competition, with great enthusiasm.

The event opened with a prayer song and the lighting of the lamp by Sri. S. Jamala Reddy, Chairman of KENNEDY HIGH the global school accompanied by Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat, the two esteemed judges Ms.Vijayalakshmi Sharma and Ms. Prasanna Lakshmi and the coordinators. It was followed by a beautiful welcome dance which mesmerized the audience.

Chairman, Sri. S. Jamala Reddy addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of holding such competitions as they reflect the folk culture and emphasise the richness of our ethnic roots. Then, he declared the competition open. Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat welcomed all present and said that there is no alternative to sincerity and hard work and the teams who have put in their efforts are bound to succeed.

Each and every team performed equally well and the amazing voices of the children won the hearts of the audience. It was a proud moment for the host school when the results were announced as the team from KENNEDY HIGH the global bagged the first prize! Samashti International School won the second prize and Prachin Global School took the third prize. The prizes were given away by NRI Director, Sri. Venkat Reddy, who also felicitated the two renowned judges.

The programme ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks given by the Cultural captain of the school.
