Apollo Hospitals and The Hindu in School hosted a painting competition in Hyderabad, to commemorate World Heart Day on 29 September 2025.
This competition was open to students of Classes IV to X, under two categories. The participants could choose any one from the following themes –
1. Don't Miss a Beat - Care for Your Heart: Paint how timely care keeps life in rhythm
2. Healthy Heart, Happy Life -Show the joy of a heart that never misses a beat.
3. My Heart, My Responsibility -Imagine how each choice we make protects the beat of life.
Over 200 students from 72 different schools participated in this competition from various schools in Hyderabad.
In this competition Sreshta Kamalapuram of Class IX -I from KENNEDY HIGH secured the first position in the senior category and 4 students received consolation prizes.
