A State Level painting competition on energy conservation was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India. As part of this event, NTPC, Secunderabad,organised this competition on 21 November, 2025.

In this competition, Sreshta Kamalapuram of class IX won the first position in Telangana State out of the top 50 selected students in the state in Group B category. She was awarded a merit certificate, Rs.50000/ cash prize as well as a participation incentive of Rs:2000/. She also received gifts worth Rs.1500/. She will be participating in the Nationals on 11 December 2025, in New Delhi.
