This year the Govt. of India declared 26 December to be celebrated every year as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’, to pay homage to the great valour and supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the younger sons of the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh.
Students of CBSE Class I-V of KENNEDY HIGH the global school celebrated this occasion by watching a digital exhibition showcasing the courage and sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, watching an animated movie on Sahibzadas ‘Chaar Sahibzaade’, creating promise cards to uphold their faith and values courageously and by participating in a quiz related to Veer Bal Diwas.
The students were filled with admiration when they learnt about the courage and sacrifice of little Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh. They felt inspired to be brave and stand up for their beliefs as and when needed.
