EVENTS ORGANIZED AT KENNEDY HIGH UNDER THE THEME ‘TRIBAL EMPOWERMENT’

 As per the directions received from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, KENNEDY HIGH the global school conducted the following activities and competitions under the theme ‘Tribal Empowerment’ under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. These events were held from 9 August 2023 to 14 August 2023 during the school hours.

A quiz was conducted for Class V, Painting Competition was held for class VI & VII, Poster Making Competition was organized for class VIII and while class IX enjoyed participating in a Slogan writing competition, the seniors from class XI-XII took part in an essay writing competition on “Tribal empowerment.”

The Peer Educators from Class IX & X campaigned for a “Drug Free India/Nasha Mukt Bharat” and the Youth club

Not to be left behind, the Sports department organized some indigenous games with special focus on Tribal games of the State like Thokkudu Billa, Edu Penkula, Ata Kappa, Ganthulu Kuntullu and a few others, which were thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

All in all, it was an enriching experience for the students.
