RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS 2023 observed at KENNEDY HIGH
‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ Pledge was administered by Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat to the students of middle school, in the assembly ground on 31 October 2023. She addressed the students and spoke to them about the importance of unity and national integration. She highlighted the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in restoring peace and unity in India post -independence and as to why he is known as the Iron man of India. Then the students along with their teachers participated in the “Run for unity”, by running a short distance.
Later, students from various classes engaged in discussions and debates on the life of Sardar Patel. Students from Primary engaged in role plays to showcase the importance of national integration, with great enthusiasm. Thus, observing this day helped the children understand and promote their dedication to reinforce the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
