YOUTH PARLIAMENT SESSION CONDUCTED AT KENNEDY HIGH

In today's interconnected world, cultivating a sense of social responsibility among students is essential for building a more equitable and sustainable society. Social responsibility initiatives tailored for students not only instill empathy and compassion but also empower them to become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond, KENNEDY HIGH the global school is always first to inculcate social responsibility to students. 
On 18-03-2024 Monday Youth Parliament session is conducted in Kennedy High The Global School,
Youth Parliament intends to create a permanent forum on local and national levels where all young people can discuss and reflect on topics that concern them and to address themes arising from the common lived experiences and share with others. It acts as a platform for them to voice their opinions which will help them analytically examine the society which we inhabit.
In the session students enacted as the members of Loksabha and discussed on the issues like,
❖ Development of Tourism in India. 
❖ Food Security in India
❖ India-Myanmar Border issues,
❖ Bill resolution for Reservation for women in Legislatives.
Students from Class X and XI have participated in the session.
A Total of “55” students have participated in the Youth Parliament.


Class X: 52 students.
Class XI: 03 students.
