DRAMATICS CLUB

Dramatics Club at KENNEDY HIGH the global school is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theatre. This includes learning stage terminology and working on acting skills.
The purpose of the club is to provide a platform for students to showcase their acting skills, creativity, and storytelling abilities. It also helps students to develop their communication and leadership skills, work together on different performance pieces and build self-confidence. The drama club provides a supportive environment for students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and cultivate a love for the performing arts. The goal of the club is to promote a love of theatre and offer students a chance to express their creativity and perform in front of an audience.
The club develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students by encouraging them to analyse and interpret different scripts and performances. Students of the drama club work together to write scripts for their plays and create original works. Actors in the club develop their characters by studying the script and find ways to bring the character to life. The club typically meets on a regular basis to discuss, plan, and rehearse for upcoming performances. The members of the club rehearse on a regular basis which helps them become more spontaneous on stage.
Last but not the least the Dramatic Club helps to master leadership and organizational skills in students by providing opportunities to take on different roles ranging from script writers to stage managers.
