Children's Day was celebrated on 14 November 2024 at KENNEDY HIGH, bringing together students from the whole school, to commemorate the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
The school President Sri. B. Subba Reddy, Managing Director Cmdr. N. Krupakar Reddy, and Academic Director & Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat, graced the occasion. In a symbolic act of respect and admiration, they offered floral garland and flowers to Nehru’s portrait, paying tribute to his future vision and love for children.
In his speech, President Sri. B. Subba Reddy highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the potential advancements in science and technology for the future. He also emphasized the need to address food and water wastage and encouraged students to become responsible caretakers of resources. Managing Director Cmdr. Krupakar Reddy inspired students to see themselves as future leaders and changemakers, while Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat motivated them with the “3 D’s” – dedication, determination, and discipline – essential for their journey ahead.
The teachers brought the day to life, engaging the students with their vibrant performances and heartfelt enthusiasm by stepping into the spotlight to showcase their hidden talents. From graceful dance performances and melodious songs to engaging skits and powerful speeches, their creativity and humour brought tremendous joy to the students, who cheered enthusiastically.
This Children’s Day celebration was a beautiful reflection of joy, friendship, and the special bond between students and teachers.
