Day 1: "Harmony in Languages and Nature”
The primary students of KENNEDY HIGH the global school, Hyderabad took part in a nature walk activity. They observed the surroundings in the school premises and learnt the names of the trees and plants. This helped them to actively engage with the natural environment. The discussion about their experience, followed by the nature walk, helped them to express themselves in their mother tongue.
Students of Class VIII took part in the cookbook project by compiling recipes from various states written in their respective languages. This helped the students gain a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and language. Through this project, they not only learned about different cuisines but also improved their language skills and teamwork.
Students from Class VI to Class IX watched a short documentary on the linguistic diversity of India. They learned about the multitude of languages spoken across the country and the cultural richness each language brings.
