SELSK JANUARY 2025

In January 2025, the main theme was Relationship Skills, the fourth component of Socio-Emotional Learning and the sub-themes were communication, friendship, family bonding, setting boundaries and conflict management.

Class II
Class II students participated in a role-playing activity on 'Communication', where they practised effective conversation skills. They learned to use positive body language, such as facing the speaker using gestures, and making eye contact while talking. This activity helped the students develop essential communication skills and build confidence in expressing themselves.

Class III
Class III students enjoyed the Imagination Station activity, where they learned Active Listening skills. They discovered the importance of eye contact and staying focused, which helped them build stronger relationships with peers and teachers.

Class IV
Class IV students participated in the heartwarming 'Colours in the Home' activity. They expressed their love and feelings for their family by colouring their homes with vibrant emotions, creating a beautiful representation of warmth and connection.

Class V
Class V students did a mind-mapping activity to learn about relationship skills. They used colours and keywords to create a visual map, showing how empathy, communication, and trust help build strong relationships.
