KENNEDY HIGH the global school, Hyderabad, joined the drive to establish Sugar Boards in the school, as per the CBSE directives and spearheaded by The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), for the adoption of "sugar boards" in schools.
The Peer Educators from class IX and X took up the responsibility of creating the display boards to highlight the health risks associated with high sugar intake, such as Type 2 diabetes, obesity, and dental problems. In all, the 7 teams created 7 Sugar boards which were displayed throughout the school.
The Peer Educators also took interactive sessions to educate students about the risks of excessive sugar intake and how to make healthy food choices. This was done in the month of July 2025.
