WORLD ELEPHANT DAY 2025 CELEBRATED AT KENNEDY HIGH

World Elephant Day, which is celebrated on 12 August every year, is an exceptional occasion focused on honouring and safeguarding one of the most awe-inspiring creatures on our planet – the elephant. This special day emphasizes the critical challenges that elephants face, such as habitat destruction and poaching, and encourages people across the globe to act to protect these gentle giants.

At KENNEDY HIGH, students from all classes took the pledge to protect these majestic animals. They also had a discussion and talk in the class to understand more about elephants during morning assembly. Students planted a sapling with their Mothers at their homes to protect mother Earth.

A total number of 2103 students and 77 teachers participated in this campaign.
