SWACHHATA PAKHWADA 2025 OBSERVED AT KENNEDY HIGH

Students from Primary were involved in handwashing, cleaning their lockers and tidying their classrooms, thus focusing on inculcation of clean and healthy habits. They also had a discussion in their EVS classes regarding the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and how “swachhata” helps in keeping diseases away.

Peer Educators from class VIII actively participated in a rally within the school campus to promote awareness about Swachhata Pakhwada. With handmade placards and enthusiastic chants of slogans, they inspired the students to embrace the values of hygiene, sanitation, and environmental responsibility. Their slogans echoed the importance of keeping surroundings clean and cultivating healthy habits. This way, the rally served as a platform reinforcing the message that cleanliness begins with one individual’s action.

The middle school students also took “Swachhata Pledge” and engaged in role plays to highlight why Swachhata should be a way of life and not remain only, “once a year” event.
