The Class VIII Peer Educators of KENNEDY HIGH the global school organized impactful awareness sessions to observe Poshan Maah in the month of August 2025. They addressed the growing concerns of unhealthy eating habits among students, which are largely influenced by social media trends.
Through engaging roleplays and interactive discussions, they highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition and the risks associated with unhealthy diets and junk food culture promoted online.
Earlier, Peer Educators from class IX and X, created Sugar Boards and those from class VIII, created Oil boards, as per the CBSE directives. Later, they visited all the classes in the school, spreading awareness on the importance of cutting sugar and trans fats from everyday food and making healthy lifestyle choices.
Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign 2025, which is a part of Poshan Maah 2025, was done in the month of July 2025.
These sessions aimed to promote mindful eating choices among their peers. The initiative not only fostered awareness but also showcased the leadership and creativity of the Peer Educators in promoting health and well-being.
