A self-defence training programme was conducted during school hours for the girls from Class VI, CBSE & Grade 6 Cambridge, onwards, in the month of November, 2025. The sessions focused on confidence-building, awareness, and learning simple, practical skills for personal safety in uncertain situations.
Students practiced in pairs and demonstrated techniques such as defending against an attack, strategies to free themselves when someone attacked them, and escaping from an attack. Along with physical techniques, the training also strengthened their emotional well-being, mental resilience, and positive behavioural development by helping them manage fear, stay calm under pressure, and make quick, safe decisions.
Through guided practice, students showcased their learning confidently and felt empowered to stay aware, responsible, and prepared in challenging situations.
