KENNEDY HIGH the global school marked Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 with a series of activities that brought together students across different age groups to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and civic responsibility.

Students from Balvatika 2 and 3 took part in a cleanliness drive. Through an interactive story based role play, they explored healthy habits and pledged to keep their surroundings neat. They marched out to the school lawn holding awareness placards. They practiced civic responsibility, step-by-step hygiene routines and concluded by reciting a fun rhyme on cleanliness.

Class VIII Peer Educators led the Swachhata Pakhwada rally, carrying placards with powerful messages on waste management, hygiene, water conservation, and sanitation. They also conducted classroom sessions for Classes VI to VIII under this year’s Swachhata theme, “Swachh Bharat, My Responsibility”. These sessions emphasised that cleanliness is not confined to school activities but is a responsibility that must be upheld every day. By blending outdoor advocacy with indoor discussions, the Peer Educators demonstrated how young voices can inspire meaningful change and reminded everyone that a cleaner environment begins with individual action.

To deepen awareness, the school also organised a range of inter house competitions. Students of Class I showcased their oratory skills in an elocution contest on the importance of healthy food. Class IV students expressed their ideas in an essay competition on the theme ‘Save Water, Save Life’. Class VII students displayed their knowledge in a quiz on plant nutrition and contributed creative slogans against single use plastic.

Students of KENNEDY HIGH also took the Swachhata pledge along with their teachers in the morning assembly.

From the students of Balvatika to higher classes, every participant played a role in spreading the message of cleanliness and sustainability, proving that collective effort and individual responsibility are the true foundations of a healthier future.
