This year the focus of Rashtriya Poshan Maah (9 September 2026 to 8 October 2026) was on improving the nutritional well-being of women and children under the theme, “Hamari Anganwadi, Hamari Jimmedari.”
Students of KENNEDY HIGH participated actively in this programme and took the poshan pledge to eat nutritious food.
Peer educators from class IX campaigned to raise awareness about healthy food and balanced diet.
PPTs were shown to the students, covering malnutrition, dietary diversity and adequate protein. The Science teachers discussed about macronutrients and micronutrients. Class discussions were also held around plant- based proteins and animal proteins. Through these discussions, students understood what constitutes a healthy plate and why good nutrition is a must for one to grow in a healthy manner.
