KENNEDY HIGH CELEBRATES PARAKRAM DIWAS ON 23 JANUARY 2023

Parakram Diwas is celebrated on January 23 every year,to commemorate the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose, to inspire people of the country, especially the youth, to act with fortitude in the face of adversity as Netaji did, and to infuse in them a spirit of patriotic fervor.

This year marked the 126th birth anniversary of Bose, fondly known as ‘Netaji’. To mark the occasion, 21 unnamed islands of Andaman and Nicobar were named after Param Veer Chakra awardees. A model of the National Memorial dedicated to Netaji which will be built on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep was also unveiled.

KENNEDY HIGH also celebrated the day by sharing information with all the students about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, his life, ideology, work and political career, in the form of a power point presentation. A short quiz was also conducted as a part of the celebration to test how much the children know about this great personality.
