KENNEDY HIGH OBSERVES SWACHHATA PAKHWADA 2023

KENNEDY HIGH the global school observed the SWACHHATA PAKHWADA from 1st to 15th September 2023 with great enthusiasm. The celebration started with Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat administering the Swachhata Shapath, to the students in the morning assembly.

HODs and Coordinators inspected water and sanitary facilities in the school, to assess the water-sanitation and hygiene facilities. The school website also displayed Swachhata awareness messages. Broken furniture, waste material and unusable equipment were disposed of, along with e-waste, safely.  

The school organized Essay writing, poem writing and painting competitions for different classes. Peer educators from class IX-X took classes on how to maintain cleanliness and good hygiene for healthy living. Senior students campaigned to ban the use of Single Use Plastic and to stop plastic pollution.

Students of class VIII spread awareness on Swachhata by organizing a rally. Primary class students participated in the cleanliness drive by cleaning their classrooms and lockers and also participated in a quiz on the topic of cleanliness. To conclude, it was an enriching and energized fortnight of Swachhata Pakhwada at the school.
