FIRST AID AWARENESS SESSION HELD AT KENNEDY HIGH

Aakar Asha Hospital, a prominent healthcare institution, organized a highly informative and engaging First Aid Awareness Session for both students and teachers on August 10, 2023. This session was the result of a collaborative effort between Aakar Asha Hospital and KENNEDY HIGH the global school with the shared goal of promoting fundamental first aid knowledge among the students and staff.

To ensure an interactive and captivating learning experience, the experienced medical professionals from Aakar Asha Hospital incorporated hands-on demonstrations. Attending students from Class IX-XII/Grade 9 to A level and the teachers, were given an invaluable opportunity to actively practice crucial first aid techniques. These included CPR, proper wound dressing procedures, and the correct response to a choking incident.

One of the most impactful aspects of the event was the realistic scenarios that the hospital's team simulated. These lifelike emergency situations provided participants a chance to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical context. This hands-on experience was instrumental in bolstering their confidence in handling a wide range of medical emergencies.

Furthermore, the session actively encouraged participation through an interactive Q & A segment wherein the participants were encouraged to ask questions, seek clarification, and deepen their comprehension of first aid concepts.

In conclusion, the First Aid Awareness Session organized by Aakar Asha Hospital played a pivotal role in understanding essential first aid skills and cultivated a greater sense of preparedness in the students and staff of the school.
