Anwith Vallabhaneni of CBSE class IX won a gold medal in 1500m freestyle and a second gold medal in 800m freestyle in the South Zone swimming tournament held on 7 and 8 December 2024. Additionally, he went on to win one silver medal in 50m backstroke, one in 100m backstroke and the third in 200m backstroke in the same tournament. This event was organised by the Telangana swimming association.
