WORKSHOP ON "HAPPY CLASSROOMS" HELD FOR CBSE TEACHERS

Mrs. Rajyalaxmi Bhat, Venue Director and the Principal of KENNEDY HIGH the global school opened the event by welcoming the resource person of the workshop, “Happy Classrooms”. This workshop was attended by 58 teachers from KENNEDY HIGH the global school and was conducted on 8 July 2023 in the school premises at KENNEDY HIGH the global school from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30p.m.

The resource person began the workshop by asking the participants to introduce themselves and by also sharing their source of happiness.

The workshop was divided into three segments with the main focus on how to create happy classrooms. The teachers actively participated in the workshop during the interactive sessions like ice-breaking and other activities like singing and performing roleplays.

The resource person shared some tips and asked for suggestions on how a teacher can be happy in order to make the classroom content and happy. The teachers were asked time and again to practice mindfulness in their classrooms to promote happy classrooms. The resource person also suggested the teachers practice whatever was discussed in the workshop.

The workshop ended with the teachers expressing their mood for the day with hand-drawn emojis. Overall, the entire workshop was an informative session wherein the teachers were enlightened on how to make each and every class lively and happy.
