PARTITION HORRORS REMEMBRANCE DAY’ OBSERVED AT KENNEDY HIGH  

‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ was observed on 14 August 2023 at KENNEDY HIGH the global school, following the SOP shared by CBSE.

This exhibition was shown through digital media to the students of class VI-XII. Patriotic songs were played before the start of the exhibition. The Social Science teachers spoke about the purpose of the exhibition to raise awareness about the historical events and they continued to talk about the horrors of the partition, as each slide was displayed.

As the event ended with the National Anthem, students were in a sombre mood and spoke about what they had viewed in hushed voices. It was clear that the exhibition had a profound impact on them and that they had gained a new perspective on India’s independence.
