KENNEDY HIGH the global school arranged a career counselling session for CBSE and Cambridge students on 20 March 2024.
Dr. Bhaskara R Jasti, Professor, Associate Dean of Graduate Education and Research Executive Director, a delegate from the University of the Pacific addressed the session. Mrs. Rajyalxmi Bhat, Principal, KENNEDY HIGH the global school welcomed him with a floral tribute.
Dr. Baskara R Jasti provided the students with insights regarding the various courses available in the University of Pacific. He made them familiar with the duration of the various courses offered at the University, fees structure, administration, and admission procedure. He not only talked about the Undergraduate courses, but he also spoke about the Post -graduation programs and PhD.. He enlightened the students on how to get financial assistance as well scholarships. Dr. Jasti also talked on how they could apply for visa and the selection process. He helped the students filter down their career goals and focus towards their passion. He also made them connect with the corporate world’s salaries by distinguishing between the various job and posts.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by the Sports Captain, who thanked Dr. Bhaskara R Jasti for enlightening them regarding various educational programmes available at the University of Pacific.
