CBSE WORKSHOP ON BALVATIKA & JAADUI PITARA

Two teachers from Primary wing of KENNEDY HIGH the global school attended a CBSE workshop on Balvatika and Jaadui Pitara, at Meridian School, Madhapur on 7 June 2024. The purpose of this workshop was to create an awareness on the provisions of National Curriculum Framework-Foundation Stage (NCF-FS) for the Principals, and teachers teaching students at the foundational stage.
To accelerate and amplify the awareness, reach, and impact of the transformative idea of Jaadui Pitara, the two resource persons designated by NCERT, SCERTs, CBSE, and CoE (Academic and Training unit) Ms. Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, and Ms. Shilpi Dhar spoke about the new pedagogical and curricular structure based on the cognitive and socio-emotional development of students. They also emphasised on the development of foundational literacy and numeracy skills in primary education. They explained about Jaadui Pitara which is a teaching-learning material designed for children aged 3-8 years old, consisting of playbooks, toy puzzles, posters, flash cards, storybooks, worksheets and many more items.
This workshop was highly beneficial and innovative for the teachers.
