As per the CBSE directives, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand, KENNEDY HIGH celebrated National Sports day by engaging the students in different traditional, recreational and indigenous games on 30 and 31 August 2024, in the school premises.
Students of class VI- VIII took the Fit India Pledge, administered by Principal, Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat.
In addition, as per the SOP shared by CBSE, a total of 74 students from class IX-X played indoor games. Chess was played by 36 students of class X and 38 students from class IX and X played table tennis.
96 students played outdoor games. 44 students of class IX and X played football as well as Tennis ball cricket and 52 students from class VII and VIII participated in running race.
A total of 290 students participated in Fun Games/ Recreational Games. 60 students from class I had fun playing with Hula hoops. 35 students of class II participated in zig zag running while another 30 participated in hurdle race. 68 students of class III played Hopscotch, 65 students of class IV played seven stones and 32 students of class V played Kho -Kho.
