Bathukamma Festival Celebrated at KENNEDY HIGH

The vibrant spirit of Telangana’s Bathukamma festival came alive at KENNEDY HIGH the global school on 1 October 2024. It was a day filled with joy, colour, and tradition, made even more special by the presence of the school’s esteemed dignitaries President Sri B. Subba Reddy, Managing Director Sri N. Krupakar Reddy, and Academic Director & Principal Ms. Rajyalaxmi Bhat. Their warm blessings and heartfelt words added a sense of unity and cultural pride, which resonated deeply with the entire school community.
The celebrations saw students, teachers, and staff coming together to honour the beautiful traditions of Telangana in a colourful display of togetherness. The young students, especially those from Class I to V and Grade 1 to 5, were at the heart of the event. Dressed in traditional attire, their excitement and enthusiasm lit up the day. Their participation in the Bathukamma ritual—where they joyfully arranged and played with the floral decorations, was a testament to the festival’s deep cultural significance.
