On October 25, 2024, a comprehensive one-day training programme was conducted at the Dr. MCR HRD Institute, aimed at addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse. This event brought together a diverse group of stakeholders who attended the training programme to foster collaboration and develop strategies to combat drug abuse in the state.
The school counsellor represented KENNEDY HIGH the global school at this event.
Sri. P. Krishna Murthy (Addl. SP), Sri. P. Shankar Yadav (DSP), TGNB, Sri. Sandeep Shandilya (IPS Retd.), Director TGNB, Sri. Subbarami Reddy (DCP, TGNB) and Mr. Ramu (De-addiction therapist, Director, Warangal) addressed the gathering on various drug related issues.
The session ended with Mrs. Kalyani providing an overview of how to form Prahari clubs and said regular activities, meetings, pledge and action plan on anti-drug were to be planned by these clubs.
The training program was deemed excellent, providing valuable information on prevention, sensitization, identification, enforcement, and treatment strategies for drug abuse.
