In the month of June 2024, the main theme was self-awareness, the first component of Socio Emotional Learning, and the sub-themes were emotions and feelings.

Class VI
Students did the ‘Kite of Emotions’ activity where the students drew colourful kites to represent the eight basic emotions. This activity helped them recognize and identify these emotions, laying the foundation for self-awareness.

Class VII
Students drew the ‘Tower of Emotions’ scaling their emotions to gain a better understanding of their emotional states. This activity encouraged introspection, helping students become more aware of their emotions and feelings.

Class VIII
Students made ‘Emotion Masks’ and took part in roleplay, showcasing their emotions in a unique and creative way. This activity helped them express and manage their emotions, developing a stronger sense of self-awareness.

Class IX
Students did various art-integrated activities like ‘Circle of Control’, ‘Who am I?’, and ‘Self-esteem Bucket’. These activities helped them gain a deeper understanding of themselves, identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for personal growth.
