In the month of July 2024, the main theme was self-awareness, the first component of Socio Emotional Learning, and the sub-themes were self-esteem and strengths and weaknesses.

Class VI
The students prepared a ‘Self-Esteem Bucket’ using paper origami and they represented how unique they are as a person to fill the bucket.

Class VII
The students filled in the strengths and weaknesses journal called ‘The Voice in My Head Says I can…’. This activity helped them to introspect and understand themselves better.

Class VIII
The students read the story ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and did a ‘Character Traits’ Venn diagram to compare and contrast two characters from the story and relate it to their own traits.

Class IX
The students did various activities like ‘Circle of Control’, ‘I am’, ‘Emotional Check-in’ and ‘Success Iceberg’ to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and improve their self-esteem by working to change to change their strengths to weaknesses.
