SELSK AUGUST 2024

In the month of August 2024, the main theme was Self-Management, the second component of Socio Emotional Learning, and the sub-themes were Emotional Regulation and Positive Self-talk.

Class VI
The students drew an ‘Emotional Cascade’ to represent how emotions can be regulated using various coping strategies.


Class VII
Each student crafted a colourful popsicle and listed down three cool coping strategies to regulate their emotions.

Class VIII
The students identified one emotional bug as a trigger and how they can repel it using various coping strategies. Apart from this, the students also honed their pens to write a poem on Self-Compassion.

Class IX
The students did the ‘Gratitude List’ activity to develop a sense of gratitude and also the ‘Anger Firework’ activity to understand their emotional triggers and how to manage them. These activities will help the students to develop a growth mind-set and become emotionally resilient towards challenges in life.
