Healing the Earth through Greener Initiatives

Van Mahotsav week was celebrated at KENNEDY HIGH the global school from 2 July 2026 to 7 July 2026, inspiring students to become responsible guardians of nature.

Students of primary and middle school from CBSE and Cambridge showcased their love for nature through vibrant dance and music performances and a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play), on tree plantation and environmental conservation.

Addressing the gathering, President Sri. B. Subba Reddy told the students that the best way to make the earth green is to plant one sapling every birthday. Managing Director Cdr. N. Krupakar Reddy mentioned the students that every sapling  planted today is a step towards a cleaner, greener and more sustainable tomorrow. Academic Director & Sr. Principal, Smt. Rajyalaxmi Bhat, highlighted the countless benefits of trees and how to safeguard them.

Sapling plantation was done by the students of primary as part of the Van Mahotsav celebration. This hands-on activity instilled a sense of environmental responsibility.

The celebration concluded with a spirited rally, where students and staff raised powerful environmental slogans, pledging to plant saplings, protect, and preserve trees.
