Students of Class IX explored the concept of a crop calendar and studied the value chain of agricultural products. They also learnt about the role of the Indian Meteorological Department and the challenges faced in farming, including soil pH and weather conditions. As part of the activity, they made a rain gauge and a miniature wind vane to understand their working and discussed their importance in agricultural practices.
