Health evaluations are an important aspect of child development, as they monitor growth indicators, enhance the health of students, and foster awareness.
As mandated by the Telangana State government a general health check-up was done for all the students, teaching and non-teaching staff from 17 August 2026 to 20 August 2026 and on 24 August 2026 and 25 August 2026 at KENNEDY HIGH, during school hours.
A panel of qualified and experienced Doctors from Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences Hospitals conducted this general health check-up. The panel included 6 eye specialists,6 dentists,1 dietician and 15 General physicians, assisted by 6 qualified nurses.
The Medical team examined a total of 3041 students covering all classes as well as around 400 staff members, including teachers. Students underwent screening for height, weight, eyesight, dental health, common ailments and general fitness. Doctors advised students to eat a balanced diet, drink enough water, sleep well, and reduce junk food. Health cards were given to students for parents' reference.
The panel has submitted their report for the students to the school, the scanned copies of which will be shared with the parents soon.
The annual medical check -up was a great success as it reminded students that good health is essential for good learning.
