On the occasion of the second anniversary of the NEP 2020, CBSE announced the CBSE Budding Authors Programme in partnership with Central Square Foundation, Pratham Books’ StoryWeaver and National Book Trust. The CBSE Budding Authors Programme engaged the students in reading different types of stories and learning to write effectively. As students wrote and submitted their short stories under this programme, they got an opportunity to express their creativity. 273 enthusiastic students from class V-X participated in round 1 of this contest at the school level on 30 October 2022, in English and Hindi. Round 2 was conducted on 15 November 2022 and two students were shortlisted from each category.
