SHIKSHA SAPTAH REPORT - DAY 6, MISSION LiFE Day (27 JULY 2024)
• As per the CBSE directives, a plantation drive was organized to plant saplings in the school. Students of class V participated in this drive. Geotagged images were shared with DoSEL on the given google tracker link.
215 students and 16 teachers took part in this plantation drive, planting 7 saplings and distributing 32 saplings among the students in the school, to plant at home.
• A message was sent to the parents to participate in the #Plant4Mother Campaign. There was enthusiastic participation from students and their mothers as they collaborated in planting the saplings at home.
564 students along with their Mothers participated in the campaign and planted 564 saplings.
• The Eco-club teachers in- charges, held interactive sessions for students of class VI-VIII on sustainable practices for life and also talked about environmental issues that need attention.
677 students and 9 teachers participated in this session.
• Peer educators from Class IX and X raised slogans to create awareness and campaigned to conserve nature. They also spoke about Mission Life in class IX-XII.
463 Students and 18 teachers were a part of the activity.
