On 8 January 2026, the school organized an informative session on road safety for the school bus drivers. Officers of Miyapur Traffic Police conducted this session wherein they discussed the importance of following road safety rules. This session was attended by Managing Director, KENNEDY HIGH the global school, Cdr N. Krupakar Reddy, transport manager and his team and 60 bus drivers.
The session covered significant topics like helmet & seat belt compliance. The team reiterated that intensive checks are being conducted at major junctions, especially on two wheeler riders. They also issued strict caution for parents that letting minors drive is being considered a serious legal violation and would be dealt with seriously. Drinking while driving or under the influence of alcohol is also prohibited & every driver should adhere to the rule. Using mobiles & jumping traffic signals are also traffic violations & will be dealt with gravely.
This interactive session was very useful and helped drivers refresh their knowledge & made them aware of the reasons for traffic rules.
Further, on 28 January 2026, Peer Educators of Class VIII first took part in a rally on Road Safety, where they chanted slogans to spread awareness. Following this, they conducted engaging classroom sessions for their peers. Through roleplays, they addressed issues such as road rage, drunken driving, and neglecting safety measures. They concluded the sessions with short activities, like a quiz and games such as hangman on road safety. These sessions and activities instilled a strong sense of responsibility and awareness about road safety among the students.
