Menstrual Hygiene, Nutrition and Stress Management Session conducted at KENNEDY HIGH the Global School - 2026

A team of experienced doctors from Mamata Hospitals conducted an interactive session for girls of Classes IX – XII / Grades 9 to AS Level, on 31 July, 2026.
The highlights of this session were:

Importance of a balanced diet - Students were advised to consume iron-rich foods to maintain good health and prevent anaemia.

Understanding the menstrual cycle and dispelling common myths - The importance of maintaining cleanliness during menstrual periods to prevent infections and various menstrual hygiene products were discussed.

Stress management - The students learned practical techniques to cope with stress, including maintaining a positive attitude, practising deep breathing and relaxation
exercises.

Responsible use of social media - For digital safety, maintaining healthy boundaries online, reducing digital distractions to improve focus, memory, and sleep quality.
The awareness programme was highly informative and empowering. It helped dispel common myths, promoted confidence among the students, and encouraged them to make healthy and informed decisions regarding menstrual hygiene and overall wellness.
