Health & Well-being Orientation Session conducted at KENNEDY HIGH the global school - 2026

A comprehensive orientation session was conducted by experienced doctors from Mamata Hospitals for the boys Classes IX – XII / Grades 9 to AS Level on 31 July, 2026.
The highlights of this session were:

  • Balanced Diet & Nutrition - Students were advised to avoid junk food, excessive sugar, processed snacks in favour of home-cooked, balanced meals and proper
    hydration were emphasized.
  • Interpersonal Relationships - Healthy classroom etiquette, mutual respect, positive peer engagement, open communication, active listening, building emotional
    intelligence, managing peer pressure, and fostering empathy in personal relationships were discussed.
  • Impact & Effects of Social Media - An interactive discussion was held on the psychological and social impacts of screen addiction, excessive social media exposure, digital safety, maintaining healthy boundaries online and sleep quality.
  • Physical Fitness & Active Living - Doctors stressed the necessity of incorporating regular physical activity. They also encouraged students to balance academic study time with active recreational pursuits.

The awareness programme was very insightful and highly beneficial. It motivated and encouraged them to make healthy lifestyle and informed choices regarding their overall wellness.
