MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT AND AWARENESS SESSION
KENNEDY HIGH the global school, organized a session for the girl students of class X-XII on 28 October 2024. The session was conducted by one of the health and wellness teachers along with the school counselor. This session focused on healthy hygiene practices and prevention of any kind of infections especially reproductive tract infections.
A video on reproductive health and HIV prevention was shown. Additionally, a Powerpoint presentation on immunity and case studies were used to educate the students about menstrual hygiene practices, promoting a healthy approach to prevent and manage infections like reproductive tract infections and other viruses like HIV and AIDS.
The session ended with a round of question-answers and general health tips to be followed in everyday life such as inculcating self-care and self-love for wellbeing, not to neglect hygiene practices and developing a positive attitude.
